I say he's a Cardinal when its all said and done. Even though the Browns would be cool.

The only reason Dorsey would take Smith in Cleveland is if he takes a young QB in the draft as well. I doubt Dorsey would take Smith to be more than a mentor.

Reid is the one who wanted Alex Smith in KC, not Dorsey.

I really hope this is true

I cant imagine we will do better than the 35th or 33rd overall pick from CLE at the very MOST

but if we do get more than that

I will actually respect alice for doing something useful as he cucks his way out the door

Me too, but I wouldn't be surprised. Then again, if someone offered me a squirt of piss for him I'd take it.

Andy is the only reason Smiff looked competent. He can only dress up that pig so much..

Yup. Alex to Arizona makes too much sense. Alex to Jacksonville makes a ton of sense as well, but I don't know what Bortles' contract situation is.

It's the final year of Bortles' contract. If Jacksonville cuts Bortles before June 1st next year they owe him nothing and save 19 million against the cap. He's gone if there is any viable option at all.

How great would it be if they sent Smith and a second or third to Cleveland for the number 5 pick?

How sweet would it be if we could upgrade the position as radically as from Alex Smith to Patrick Mahomes and still recoup what we paid to move up?

Sounds like a pipe dream but, holy shit, that would be awesome.

Nah. You do not pay a second and 20 million for a mentor. If anyone gives a 2nd or higher for Smith he will be their guy.

Alex is best utilized on a 12 Niners with a great defense, not on the Chiefs bottom barrel bullshit

I think it will turn out pretty good for all parties.
