Party is at the Aunt and Uncle's. Girl has same last name.
So, she is he cousin, or more likely he's trolling. Next up, he'll talk about being raised by his grandmother's daughter's husband's wife. |

I think a bigger question is could you date someone that has the same first name of your ex.

I used google to help me answer this question.
The answer is absolutely YES https://lastfm-img2.akamaized.net/i/...2bafb37163.jpg |
No.
Anyone in the USA who shares my last name is VERY likely to be related to me. |

I was once doing interviews on a research project, talking to various key individuals in a mid-sized city. I noticed that two women on my list had the same last name, which was kind of an unusual name.
I interviewed the first one, and she was a very attractive woman in her mid-thirties, with short black hair and a nice figure. The next day I interviewed the second one, and she was pretty much exactly the same. They weren't twins, but there was such a strong resemblance that I was sure they must be sisters. The second one was perhaps a little more lean in build, but similar hair color, similar facial features, and so on. But it seemed odd that sisters would have the same last name unless they were both single, and these women did not look like they'd both be single in their mid-thirties. At some point I asked who else I should be interviewing in the city, and she asked who I'd been talking to. I read her the list, which included the similar woman. She talked business, and then said, "By the way, in case you're wondering, I'm not related to [Person 1]." I commented that I'd been wondering about that, and she said, "I'm Wife #1 and she's Wife #2. I know we look a lot alike. My ex-husband apparently has a 'type' that he likes." I didn't delve further, but it made me very curious. If you and your wife get divorced, it seems like you wouldn't necessarily be attracted to a woman who looks uncannily like her. And if you are, is it a coincidence, or is it a warning to the second woman that his attraction may be either physical or some messed-up psychology? |
