We are on the tail end of playing 36 games in 37 days. Also played 16 extra innings. Might sweep us the way you guys are playing.

I don't know anything about Lance Lynn, you Cardinal fans weigh in his strengths and weaknesses that have watched him this season.

I had tickets given to me for tonight and Sunday. I'd rather see the Astros. I've reached the point where this inter league series needs to end.

He just throws fastballs. 92-94 MPH. It has a natural darting movement. Hitters can't square it up even though they know its coming. He use to have issues with composure but it looks like he has put that behind him.

He will be tough. For whatever reason hitters cant hit that fastball regularly. He can go 7-8 innings with 0 runs and 4 hits. Or if you work the counts and get his pitch count up you can get him out after 5-6 innings with a run or two.

In 2 years he could possibly get a $200 million contract from some team. He has flown under the MLB fan radar but not GM's.

Thanks BRC for your input that's what I was looking for not just a win and loss column and ERA number.

If he is on, he is one tough pitcher to get to. You can threaten him but, he seems to have this ability to make a pitch when he has to. Several times lately he has loaded the bases with 0 or 1 outs and nothing scored. He just made the perfect pitch.

Part of it is Yadi. He is getting old and you will be able to run on him this weekend. But, his ability to call a game is still the best in the game.

The tag sums up my feeling quite succinctly.

How have the Giants traditionally done against Lynn? That's probably the best comparison for the Royals' offense. I see he only has two regular season starts against them in the past 3-4 years and two postseason starts. ERA in the 5s, but that's a small sample size.

The Royals will put the ball in play and force defenses to make outs. They won't strike out very often in a men-on situation. Makes it tougher to get out of jams...
