I was wondering about that. Really only two options:

1) That's Iron man in the Hulkbuster
2) It's an Ultron-taken-over IM armor in the Hulkbuster.

If 2 that pretty much makes Iron Man useless in A2. Ultron can infect pretty much any electronics/technology...

Or Iron Man and the Hulk are at each other's throats.

If they do some lazy bull$3it like "Oh noes! Nanites in Hulks brain!" or some other equally weak ass "mind control" thing I'll be really let down.

I know Cap/Iron Man/Thor had some spur of the moment scraps in A1 but I don't think Stark would just whip out his super secret Hulk-killer armor for a disagreement...

It's well established that Hulk can go on mindless rampages and need to be reigned in, so I think that is what is happening. It could be a slight nod to Planet Hulk and World War Hulk from the comics.

I can buy that. One of the clips in the trailer looks like a completely broken Banner sitting there in shock.

I'd like to believe that but I doubt it.

The best idea for a stand alone Hulk movie would be Planet Hulk...

Except that Planet Hulk is a direct rip-off of John Carter, and that movie tanked.

Looks promising.

Caveat: I never read a comic book in my life, but I eat up all these comic book movies like pez. No clue who Ultron is. Don't much care. I will find out when I see the movie.

I commented on this in the John Carter thread.

Why it's better is the redemption story. Hulk is a d!(k when he gets there and by the end both Hulk and Banner agree they're happy. They both found love and want to stay in this place.

...then bad stuff happens...

Hulk comes back to earth and ****ing ruins every Marvel character worth mentioning.

This is gonna lead perfectly into two different MCU plots

1 civil war after they launch hulk off into space(guessing this will be Tony's decision in which will cause Cap to quit)----cue civil war

Then 2 later down later for planet hulk

civil war storyline's been set up since as far back as cap 1, with sebastian stan under contract for so many more movies than chris evans.

Agreed. Hulk and John Carter are two completely different characters. Stories started the same, but have much different paths and endings.

Chris Evans must have it in his contract " at least half my scenes must be without mask"

I don't even mind. His is easily the worst of all the Avengers' costumes. Like, it's hideous. Looks more like Captain Puerto Rico than anything.

In the Comics, Ultron takes over the Hulk's mind.

Which is, I believe, the reason the hulk buster suit was even invented.

Can't be sure. That was a long time ago.
