Some people will really get pissed if you try to pay for their food.

It wouldn't be a BRC thread without the humble brag.

I'll pay it forward though and insult the person behind me, too. PGM smells.

You smell like mayonnaise.

Mayo or Miracle Whip?

It matters.

The Starbucks thing happens somewhat often. Often enough that I've had people pay for my drinks two different times, and my wife has had people pay for hers more than once, too.

There was a homeless man about 3 weeks ago near 69 and 95th panhandling. I clipped him as I went around the corner.

He's in the hospital now, I suspect. So he has a nice bed and some food for as long as they keep him.

No need to thank me, Green-Coat-wearing Homeless dude. This is all about you. Pay it forward.

It happens at our local Dairy Queen, all the time. Should I post this, the next time it happens?

I personally wouldn't, but only because I don't feel really good about it unless I'm helping someone pay for a $5 cup of coffee after someone already paid for mine.

I was thinking a thread on something you had heard about, not really personal stories.

My wife's friend is getting married next month and they asked that people perform some sort of pay-it-forward kindness instead of getting them a gift. I thought that was pretty cool.

There ya go. Thats what I'm talking about.:thumb:

If you didn't know the bride and groom, we would have not known someone was thinking of others instead of themselves. Even on a pretty selfish day, a wedding day.

Sometimes the greatest gifts come in unexpected ways. Hopefully your body and paint shop also had a pay it forward thing going.

I grace people with my presence, does that count?
