You know why they were cheering? Because everyone and their sister can tell Schaub needed benching and his injury finally forced the coaching staff to make the move. They were cheering the fact that even the coaching staff couldn't f@&k it up.

well at least Cushing is a seasoned teammate that has taken the time to earn the fans respect. Winston was just a presumptuous jerk... gone

Well shit was looking forward to Schaub against our defense next week. Hope he is ok.

How is it any different from what Winston did?

Winston made sure he had all the media there and made a rant to add to the embarrassment.

Kind of what I was thinking.

Fans are never hoping the QB who's injured stays down and has to retire. We just want him down for the next 3 hours so we can see what the backup has to offer

BigMeatballDave 10-13-2013 04:22 PM

Barbaric? LMAO

mikey23545 10-13-2013 04:28 PM

If only Schaub and Cassel had suffered fatal injuries...now we're talking standing ovations, amirite?

:bravo:

I can imagine being a Texans fan and being very frustrated with Kubiak still being the head coach.

Come on now, they're exactly the same.

SPATCH 10-13-2013 04:33 PM

Think Cushing's comments are much more justified than Winston's. Winston was completely out of his element.

:spock: I'm laughing at Cushing's hyperbole.

tredadda 10-13-2013 04:38 PM

This is the reaction of the fans to crappy QB play for a team that should be far better than they are. It happens. I am pretty sure they were not cheering his injury as much as cheering him being out of the game. It just took an injury for a QB change to happen.

Valiant 10-13-2013 05:38 PM

Hasnt cushing had a fair number of cheap shots on opposing players?
