That shit is way over priced. Effective though.

Why did you put quotes around power washer?

I'm not really sure. Probably because I have never owned nor used one until last week.

I thought linn seed oil was the waterproofing hotness

If it stays wet inside it will warp.

Go to this website, Donger. I put this on our boat dock several years ago and it's still in decent condition.

I used boar #47779 on my fence.

It still smells like Boar cum !

Seconded. I used this stuff when we built our south-facing deck (no tree protection. Brutal Colorado sun exposure). It held up for about six years. Stripped the deck with a power washer (or a "power washer" if you prefer) two summers ago, went with a cheaper big box hardware store product and I'll have to repeat the process this year.

Phobia undoubtedly knows what he's talking about, but I figured I should chime in as well since I've had a positive experience with Superdeck in Colorado conditions.

I've actually used diesel fuel to treat a couple of fences that I've put up. It works great and it was much cheaper than using Thompsons. I just put it in a garden sprayer and it worked like a charm. It killed the grass right under the fence line which made it easier for weedeating, too.

I'm actually looking for a new product. I've used Cabot for years and have had to touch up a couple decks prematurely lately so I'm frustrated with them. I'll check out the superdeck stuff. They sell it at a place locally.
