Reid and Dorsey pull off an amazing 32 team trade with a combination of magic and grifting, the likes of which have not been seen since "The Sting", too secure every team's 1st round pick.

I heard we're trading the first pick to the viking for matt cassel

My prediction: we'll go crazy with trade-down rumors then pick some project o-linemen projected to go in the 5th round at #1.

You should change your avatar (although the one you use is great). Every time I read one of your post, I hear the incredibly depressed voice of Droopy Dog in my head.

He's incredibly talented yet raw. This is exactly what happens when a QB goes to a shit franchise and is rushed.

Even still, he's had flashes. This is the type of player whom the Chiefs would do well to try to acquire, should JAX be open to a trade.

Because you can never have enough MU quarterbacks on your roster.

Well, we'd then have one QB and one worthless midget, but you can never really have enough midgets, either. /McBust

I think there might have been a time when Gabbert could have been slowly developed into a decent starter, but my fear is that he's permanently damaged goods now.

This coming from the guy who had the privilege of coaching Andrew Luck for a season....

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap100...ls-draft-focus

"What I do hear from the Cardinals (is) it's unlikely that they would draft a quarterback in the first round," Rapoport said. "So it looks like going into the 2013 season, it's going to be (Brian) Hoyer versus Stanton."

It makes sense for the Cardinals to concentrate on improving their roster in a stacked NFC West if the personnel department doesn't view West Virginia quarterback Geno Smith as the solution. Perhaps Arians can find his own version of Russell Wilson next year -- if not in the second or third round next month.

It's not like we don't know who the prospects are at this point. So who's Russel Wilson in this draft? I don't think there is one. Stuff like that is stupid.

Bidwell and his minions should be on trial for crimes against humanity for what they're doing to Larry Fitzgerald's career.

That's what gets me. As rare as Andrew Lucks are, it's even MORE rare that you find Russell Wilsons in a draft.

So draft tards who write these blogs need to go get raped to death when they say idiotic shit like, "Derp no Andrew Luck in this draft but that's okay just go get a Russell Wilson in the 3rd round! That's what the Seahawks did!"

Less incentive for the Bills (the only real team I can see bidding on the #1 pick) to make a move.
