Awesome.

As a guy, I can't help but be happy he made that basket at the end. That moment, will forever be a part of his memory. Not everyone gets one of those moments. But everyone deserves one. And it took a lot of people to make that happen for him. I enjoy seeing our children that are class acts. It's a nice contrast to the bullshit we see and hear everyday.

:thumb: cool story btw.

The two stories may be merging. According to some east coast media, this kid is rising swiftly on the Chiefs' draft board on the basis of his clutch play.

I remember reading a similar story years ago, but it was a football story. The kid had some kind of disability, and the last play of the game his coach wanted to just give him the ball. He talked to the coach of the other team, who unbeknownst to his opponents instructed his defense to allow the kid a TD. Another story that caused me to notice my allergies...

He may play TE then to replace fHOF Tony Gonzalez with his basketball background the kid could be a baller.

Great story. Got to love the other kids attitude, hell everyones attitudes.

This story is very similar to when the Patriots decided to put Cassel in for an injured Brady a man who never started in college the plan was for just one series to give the guy a chance to shine just once in the sun before he was cut & the next QB on the bench would go in.
But what occurred was an awe inspiring act the entire team rallied behind him and managed a heart warming victory...game after game the team rized to the occasion to give Cassel one season.
Then like T bowe everyone knew this good feeling story was going to end badly..

But to every ones surprise the story wasn't over there..who could've ever guessed the Chiefs would decide to go even further and make him a multi millionaire ..a true cindarella story and a lesson for all of humanity.
Never give up on a dream even if your parents, high school coach, college coach tell you its impossible.

The end of this story however is yet to be told...

At any rate I'm happy for the kid its a great story that 5 minutes he will talk about for the rest of his life.
Its these types of stories that sculpt people especially the young people there at the court to become better human beings and understand the worlds bigger than just themselves.
