A couple of people I work with are doing it right now.

They're dropping some pretty big numbers but it is a brutal grind to go a month.

Drinking liquid hay isn't my idea of a good time.

That said, he said he feels great other than hungry and wanting to eat food.
It's also said to be a pain in the ass and expensive.

My wife did it. Lost good weight and poo'd a lot.

$12 a day for the fruits and veggies is what you can expect to spend at a bare minimum. I've done some homework on this.

That's really not bad. $4 a meal is a lot less than what I spend on average.

My daughters migraines disappeared after she quit caffeine. Might work for ya.

Thanks man. I've cut out caffeine to no avail. My doctor had me trying many different things, but he told me a few years ago that the best thing to do would be to do a juice diet. Then from there slowly add foods, you can monitor any possible triggers from there. To be honest I only got them a couple times a week, and I would "Deal with them", now the frequency and intensity is too much to continue to deal with. It used to be when I got one I would lose 75% or so of my vision, and then I would get a massive headache, I would throw up about 2 or 3 times, lay down and go to sleep for an hour, and then be able to function again. Now, just functioning has become difficult at times.

I hope mine yields quick results with my migraine, that will give me some motivation to keep grinding.

I just bought a Breville juicer about a week ago and have been replacing one meal (lunch) with juice per day. Been having better energy during the day and sleep better at night.

There are some good recipes at the website for the documentary "Fat, Sick, & Nearly Dead": http://www.rebootwithjoe.com/recipes/

Vitamix all day long!!! You get all the nutrients. Watch fat sick and nearly dead for inspiration if you haven't already. And best of luck to you! :thumb:

I make kale smoothies for breakfast a couple of times a week. Kale, pineapple, and banana. Delicious. It's awesome that Walmart now sells the big bags of prewashed and chopped kale.

I wonder how cost effective it would be to start your own fruit garden.....just for juicing purposes.

Hah, that's the show I watched after my Doctor said I should do it. Great show, by the way. Thanks for the link!

Great to know! How much are they going for?

I believe I picked up a bag of kale at my local grocery store for a couple of bucks. Great for kale chips as well.

I could grow the vegetables, but the climate in Ohio isn't suitable for too many fruits. If you were in a good climate ie Florida, Cali etc. I bet you could save yourself some major cash.
