It was single digits in Minneapolis with 12" of snow. No fun digging my car out.

not too bad in Boston, feels about 50 degrees or so. Very strange, because Boston is known for tough winters and last winter we got virtually no snow and only a little this winter. Strange but it's okay with me.

The average winter around here just isn't all that bad... several days of bitter cold, a few significant accumulations of snow, and otherwise tolerable temps. I've been to the Southeast enough to find high temps and/or humidity as early as March and as late as October, and I'd be surprised if there were many breaks from that between May and September. Sure, the winter months are great, but it was in the 70s here last week... :shrug:

And of course, you know it's bad when fark has a category named 'Florida'.
