I wish I didn't have to drive to KC for a good NL game.

Which is why I never went back. I don't like feeling forced to play. Sometimes at the casino I'll play for an hour and sometimes I'll play for 36. If I'm not feeling it, I refuse to go on tilt. I get up and leave. after that huge pot I played super tight and just wanted time to pass so I could GTFO the game was packed with solid players and I didn't think of it as a "winning" game...never went back Winstar World Casino in Thackerville, OK...that's a winning game |

I'll chalk that up on my list of things 'not for me'. |

I think the one I went to in Dallas had some 'hush hush' deal worked out with the local police.
|
the underground game in Champaign (never did it) got busted after the college kids cried to their mothers and the mothers called the police...
raided it one day...took every single dollar in the room...didn't matter if it was on the table or not. Lots of arrests, as well. |

I agree...but it's still bad etiquette...you don't hit and run.

here is the raid I was talking about:
http://www.pokernewsdaily.com/illino...e-issue-21028/ this is why I have an arrest in Champaign. The police LITERALLY have nothing better to do. They'll bust this game but we had a "polar bearing" epidemic break out for 45 straight days. Polar Bear: A group of black men pick out a random white person on campus and beat the shit out of him. This happened 45 straight nights and they were never caught. Yet I can get arrested for jaywalking and then throwing the ticket on the ground and telling them I'll never pay that in the history of the world and they can issue arrests to 13 people playing a damn card game. |
haha holy shit i have never heard of polar bearing before but that term is hilarious
|
well don't leave a bar after 2:30 AM and walk down dark streets in Champaign, IL...or you'll get polar bear'd
