We looked so much more comfortable than we ever did under Haley. Last season we didn't play starters in the first preseason game IIRC and this season they looked about ready for the regular season.

You certainly can tell Todd Haley no longer coaches this team just from this 1 meaningless preseason game

The funny thing is that I didn't check your explanation before I checked your ratings. Initially I thought they were an algebra problem. Then I wanted to know how Matt Cassell + Brady Quinn-stanzi=alex tanney

Yeah, we played some of them. Remember, Cassel handed the ball off like 7 times and then was pulled.

Night and day difference. Night and day.

Our RB depth is a positive.

Our QB depth is going to end up killing us.

Couple things I saw on offense that are really encouraging.

1. A screen play
2. The TD to Hillis. Hillis actually went downfield and not sideways.

Pioli made some comments pertaining how organized the team was this year. I was sure he was poking to Haley on some of that.

Well, I agree that Haley may not have been great, but keep in mind that we barely had started practicing by this time last year.

Stanzi should get 2nd team reps all this week and get the nod after Cassell in the next game.

Helps when you sign good free agents too. Pioli didn't do that for Haley.

I'd like to see Cassel hit a wide receiver who will be starting for us at some point.

Our defense is going to rape faces, and I am gonna have to make another video.

Yeah but so did 31 other teams and we looked like dog shit. We looked like dog shit under Haley and Herm when they had full off-seasons programs. As someone posted earlier, 3-17 in the preseason in 5 years says a lot about what was wrong with our coaching over that timespan.
