Another reason contributing to Hunt's recent decline on the field. He had two nice runs called back vs. the Giants.

Hence why they were nice runs

PI should become a 10-yard penalty, auto first down. No more spot foul for that shit.

I used to think this also similar to ncaa but the pros would just be coached to assault anyone 20+ yards down the field because the penalty isn't as bad as the complete pass.

Yeah they are. We need to get that cleaned up quickly. It's an often overlooked factor in football but it can be a huge factor in winning or losing a football game when there is a big difference during a game.

Here is the total penalties for each game (do not have a breakdown on offense vs defense, etc):

@NE - 15 for 139
Philly - 4 for 40
@LAC - 13 for 122
Washington - 3 for 15
@Houston - 6 for 64
Pitt - 7 for 48
@Oak - 8 for 108
Denver - 7 for 69
@Dallas - 8 for 52
@NYG - 9 for 87

I definitely agree that the Chiefs have a problem with penalties and its frustrating as a fan.

Have Reid teams always been this way?

Maybe he thinks that they can be overcome with big plays?

I would like to see some statistics that support that highly penalized teams = a losing team?

Maybe we fans read into penalties more than we should?

Do Super Bowl winning teams = less penalized teams?

The holding both ways and pi is players getting beat I get that is going to happen. Its the presnap penalties that drive me nuts. Lining up wrong or not knowing the snap count.

Agreed. Annoying as hell. Makes me feel like they are unprepared. How does this o line coach still have a job?

I bet the OL & DB's have 95% of them.

Reid has failed to fix this. Not sure he even cares.

Reid's teams never have any discipline. This isn't a surprise.

Discipline tends to be an issue with a Head Coach that is everyone's buddy.

I don't remember both of them, but I know one run was a BS ticky-tack call that really gave us no advantage on the play.
