i can't imagine any doctor would want you doing an elective procedure with sedation with an undiagnosed elevated heart rate issue

Could be true. During pre op the nurses may put the kibosh on the procedure.

A cork with some super glue gel should seal you right up.

Don't feel bad, I have to go in for a Cystoscopy on the 30th. Having a tiny camera shoved up my pee hole is not an appealing thing to have to look forward to!

It will only burn while you pee for 2 or 3 weeks...

Just picked up prep liquid for colonoscopy. Procedure is Monday. So excited I can hardly wait.

My roids weep for you. The worst is the prep. Once you get started, please try to keep within 30 feet of the can or you will have some serious clean up to do!

BlackHelicopters 08-19-2016 11:56 AM

I know this is not comparable to what you are experiencing Ed. My prayer for you continue.

Had mine in June. The prep drink taste-wise wasn't horrible, but you have to drink so much over so many hours that it got really old fast. I could barely finish the last two glasses.

I stopped "shitting" (basically squirting clear liquid out of a hose) by midnight or so. And the procedure itself was nothing. Ate like a mofo afterward.

That's the old prep juice. I did the new one in June. Two 8ounce bottles that I had to drink 12 hours apart with lots of water. I liked the old way better. This new stuff cleaned me out so good that I had to eat yogurt and kefir for like a week to get some good bacteria back in my gut so I could shit right again.

Procedure is easy
