I'm running about $850 for a 1bed/1bath 890sqft. 650 for rent and dumpster access, $150~ (now higher) for UVerse TV/Broadband and roughly $70 in water and power.

For frame of reference, singles are $2k in Hollywood, one bedroom's around $3k.

Yea. I'm looking at Burbank right now. I can do it, but shit. Just not used to that.

Waldo or Brookside wouldn't be bad.

Try Eagle Rock. It's pretty cool, about 10 minutes or so from Burbank off the 134.

For sure. Been through there. Some spectacular views of downtown from up there.

Look along Oak, Warwick, McGee (I'd even do Gillam) between Armour and Emanual Meat Clever. I won't even steer you west of there because you can't afford it without rooomate(s).

It was a breakout neighborhood a few years ago, so rent probably isn't cheap but it should be less than Burbank or the 'Wood. Studio City might be worth a look and the NoHo Arts district is nice as well.

What is "too long?"
