As a scorer, yes. As an all around player...no.

Lakers win and they get the 7th seed. Rockets with a disgusting effort against the Suns. They can still grab the 6th seed with a win and GS loss, but hoping for the 7th with and win and Warriors win

No, not even close. Although Curry is having a great year too.

Hootie 04-15-2013 11:00 PM

That wasn't even my point.

My point was...

OKC and Heat would be an amazing, amazing, amazing series if Curry was their #3 like he should have been the year they took Harden #2 over Curry.

Bill Simmons nailed that one on the head.

Yep. Seeing Rush on the bench made me remember that. He was injured so early on I almost forget about him.

An assist man Curry is just as good and this year the times I have seen Harden he hasn't played defense that well.

AdumbGuy 04-16-2013 06:51 AM

Curry's more of an off the bounce shooter than a spot up guy though. Considering how he's injured every other week, I'd say Harden was the better pick. Traded him way too early though.

Tracy McGrady to the Spurs.

Still a pretty good player when he cares enough to be, he's got a ton of talent. I like the move for them.

Tracy McGrady will sign with the San Antonio Spurs for the rest of the season, according to league sources.
After spending last season with the Atlanta Hawks, McGrady played in China this season.
McGrady averages 19.6 points for his career.
The Spurs released Stephen Jackson late last week.

The Jackson release makes a lot more sense now. Get rid of a grumbling Jack and pick up agrateful T Mac

Desperation move by the Spurs. They are in trouble at the worst possible time.

Jackson is better defensively, but TMac can do everything Jackson does and better. And honestly, he could play pretty good D too if he cared enough to. He'll probably have to care enough to get significant playoff floor time.
