Please chill.

Yeah, I don't get the trade Hosmer before last year thing. Nobody knew Hosmer would slump that hard. You don't trade a promising guy for one bad year, IMO.

You do when you have such high expectations every year.....

Oh wait, nevermind.

1-0 in my trips to the K.

Holler.

It's the same thing, man. Leave him alone. He hits better in that slot, it's been shown.

It's not the same thing. Doubles clear the bases and drive in runs. Stolen bases don't drive in runs.

I was surprised to see that his splits leading off and hitting 3 weren't substantially different last year.

That said, I think he'll stay there for the foreseeable future.

all I'm trying to say is

you lump your power (OPS) with your power...

right now we have a guy slugging in the low .200s protecting our best hitter

until Moose and Hosmer learn how to hit on the professional level...they need to stay the **** away from Billy Butler

Hootie 04-14-2013 07:41 PM

Escobar
Gordon
Butler
Perez
Cain

would be ok in my book as well

Agree. Put cain or salvy in that spot. moose and hosmer have disappinted so far. It's time for them to shit or get off the pot. I have watched the royals for too many years. Hosmer and Moose it's time for you to put up or shut up.

I would be ok with that lineup as well. Hosmer hasn't been nearly as bad as Moose. Moose needs to drop in the lineup a bit.

Haven't we already been over the splits of Alex in the leadoff spot? I mean, it was ****ing catastrophic moving him out of that spot.

I'm 1-1 this year. :-( Went to Friday's abortion.

Deberg_1990 04-14-2013 08:55 PM

on the bright side, they are still tied for 1st even with their offense being so streaky. Imagine how good they can be if Moose and Hosmer start hitting with power.

I think the splits were pretty even last year. I think he is now matured enough to hit anywhere in the lineup. I'm still not sure I would move him out of leadoff though. He seems to come up a lot with the game on the line in the 9th that way.

Can we feel better about the Braves that a big chunk of their wins were against the Marlins and Cubbies?

I figure they are due for some losses.
