His reaction was like Brad Pitt's "What's in the box?" in Se7en.

They added one more guy since they trade token black males.. Still need the other women back, even just to kill them later.. I am still going with they are not dead..

They're in the process of recruiting a new mechanic as well. Dale 2.0, but with a funkier mustache.

I thought Rick's reaction to the news was the best acting we've seen in the series we've seen so far. I bought it.

Nooooo....T-Dog (give him credit, though, he made it all the way to Season 3). Oh and Lori, too, I guess. Certainly didn't see that coming so soon into this season.

That episode packed an emotional punch. It might have been the best one since the series premiere really. Didn't expect this show to make such progress like this, but they're on the right track.

He was already starting to go this way before Lori's death, but I see Rick further becoming more like Shane was last season with no remorse for anything or anyone standing in his way and his goals. I'm guessing the meeting of the groups (and Rick's impending confrontation with the Governor) won't come until the end of this season the way they're pacing things right now.

Also noticed that the Governor mentioned a daughter with him that we haven't seen at all. Just a tad suspicious considering his hobby of sitting in a room surrounded by zombie heads in tanks.

Hell, look at Merle

Doubt Carol is dead...at least not yet anyway. And they were always setting up Merle for a return after he cut his own hand off to survive.

Might it have something to do with him having just lost his wife (his first family loss since the show began)? As for the baby, pretty sure he believes it was Shane's.

I liked T-Dog's reaction to knowing he was going to die. He made peace with God and sacrificed himself so that Carol would escape (which she did, by the way). That was more character than he had developed in more than a year.

It's just too bad they won't have a 'reuniting with Merle' scene now.

Oh, just wait. The writers are sick puppies. Merle will probably keep T-Dog's undead corpse as a pet.

You all should check out the preview for next week on AMC's website. Glenn is digging three graves so either they just assume Carol is worm-food, (or she really is) or someone else bit it.

Perhaps Carol, T-Dog and the convict that was killed in the last episode?

**** the convict.

Rick is going to distance himself from the baby, too.

They wouldn't bury him. They only bury people from their group.

them - how can you be so mean?
me - because she all but came right out and told Rick to kill Shane...then when he did she acted like complete BITCH to him about it and now I hate her frigging GUTS!
them - oh yeah....forgot about that....

The show is moving at a great pace this year and lots of action, but the writing is horribly predictable.

Head writer: "Okay, we are going to kill off [insert name] in this episode. We need 4-5 lines about 4 minutes before they die that make them sympathetic."
