I think there are any number of fans that ignore certain sports until their team has a good run. I don't think there has been much talk about college baseball until the Big 12 tournament. Same thing can be said about any number of sports.

KU fans were pretty into the Big 12 baseball tournament, until they lost to Mizzou.
