Hello there Jeff Gordon fan. Gordon could be upset he's a guy past his prime that can't get laid by a 2 trick gigolo.

LOL, I do like him, but I'm more of JJ fan these days. And I had fun watching what he finally did to Boyer. Lord knows somebody needed to do it... So you're either a Boyer fan, or just a JG hater. I love how Boyer plays innocent! LOL! It's all good, it was entertaining and nobody got hurt.

The real chickenshit moves is NASCAR doing nothing to the drivers that act like Boyer, and then act surprised when this happens. Gordon was wrong, but sans NASCAR doing anything to the Boyers of the sport, this will keep happening.

What should happen is Gordon do nothing, then next week, a teammate put Boyer into the wall. Then act surprised. Spread the wealth...

So Jeff gets to the beach first, spends some quality time with the family, and prolly gets 3-4 races off to start next year too. Qoot! That's cool, as long as he knows he can't win next years championship, he can spend more time taking the air off of Boyer's spoiler (just as he goes into those high-speed turns) and watching the Boyer's ! Don't touch him, just take the down-force off him. THAT'S legal! A few wrecked cars into the season and maybe Five Hour Energy will want their paint on another ride! Like!

I say let them fight too! A) it's entertaining, and B) it sure will make any dumbass like Boyer think twice before manufacturing another "accident." Plus, high adrenaline fights between non-fighters (and no current NASCAR driver is a fighter!!) are just fun to watch!

What he should have done is not effect the outcome of a championship. A champion knows that and I am sure if he had it to do over again he would have went to the pit and settled the score at Bristol or Martinsville next year. He lost a lot of respect in the garage and his sponsors will not be thrilled with the negative press. As a fan I find it disappointing because the title is all but locked up now. Johnson hit the wall and Bowyer was in a position to make a move which could have provided a exciting race next week. Some will say he had little chance anyway. I disagree Harvick won the race with far from the best car, Bowyer had a chance to do the same~

Gordon fined 100 K and 25 points.

Looks like NASCAR is sending a message to Good Ole Boy Jeff Gordon.

Gordon really did something classless and it will lose him some respect amongst the pits.

Jeff Gordon has been nothing since Ray Everham left years ago.

He should have been parked. That is a joke~

I suspect Dupont will pull out as his sponsor this week. As for affecting the outcome, The 2 will win, the outcome is fine, nobody hurt. As for Clint's chances being made more difficult, Karma's a biotch!

All I hope is that this $100,000 and 25 points causes the France's to take a look at driving that's beyond hard. There are a lot of angles to look at it from, not just purposly wrecking somebody.

Here are my thoughts, let this simmer down and have the sport park anybody who "causes" a wreck if anything short of a lightening strike or a blowout causes the the wreck. It's time for rough driving to not be seen as good driving. If you don't agree, then what happened here is jsut fine, it's entertaining...

Maybe they're also sending a message to Clint and every other driver who acts surprised after a year of wrecking people and thinking it was just racing.

Good call NASCAR, Jeff was on top when this sport went from hill-billy heaven to a mainstream entertainment medium. Coincidence? Perhaps. I chose to think differently. So maybe his last act of defiance/charity will be to fix one part of the sport that's in dire need of fixing.

If he can find a way to fix the points system - making leading laps and winning the race about the only f***ing thing that matters - then we'd be on our way to races that are even better. No hanging back for 350 miles, and winning doubles the points you had int he race up to that point. Do that and you'd see racing from the start.

Gordon is an all time great, he's not going to lose respect from anyone in the "garage". some will say, i'd do the same thing, some may be like about time someone did something like that.

There have been drivers in nascar (Dale Sr) that always raced dirty and he wasnt losing anyone respect ever.

People just like to say shit to get a non story into a story.

Its just a big as eh, they will get over it and people will forget about it in a week or so.

You have guys racing hard from the start, and you get a nine hour race with five cars left at the end.

I've heard that theory, not sure it's true. But hanging back and waiting isnt what the sport is about. It should hurt those who do.

Or you guys could watch some real racing like F1, Aussie V8 super cars and not have to worry about that

I had a number of my youth-years in Europe (Rome, Italy), so I'm a huge fan of F1 and Rally. Rally provides the world some of the best drivers in all of "driving" sports (and some of the dumbest fans too). So I am, I just think NASCAR could do a lot to make the sport even more entertaining. Did I mention add another 5-8 road courses to the season?

That would be a start. Restrictor plates need to go too.

I need to add an epilogue to the Gordon/Bowyer circus, because I think this is fabulous. Brad Keselowski went off in a post-race interview. I'm starting to like this kid.

Brad Keselowski is on the brink of winning his first NASCAR championship title!!!

Great job... Woo!!

Down to the last lap.

Edit: Jeff Gordon wins the race @ Homestead.

Dylan 11-18-2012 05:15 PM

Congratulations Brad Keselowski and Roger Penske: 2012 NASCAR CHAMPIONS!

Can I pick 'um or what?

Hell with a couple of immature biddies in this thread, who think you can only root for one driver...**** that! LMAO
