Are tiger trout tasty?

Rasputin 06-09-2019 02:15 AM

I am slaying it tonight.

Rasputin 06-09-2019 03:25 AM

100sh fish in a night not bad.

threebag 06-09-2019 03:30 AM

Nice :thumb:

Rasputin 06-09-2019 05:09 AM

Ok I have a confession to make. 100sh is a bit exaggerated but it was still a good night spite the most and a pole with bad string that keeps breaking after a hit.

Holy shit though its been a good night and. Fish on again.

Tattoo! You're alive! I even made a thread about you.

Don't know yet. Most of the places I've caught them were in catch-and-release waters. That place is a three-hour hike one-way from the truck and I didn't have a creel, so I let him go.

Everyone still slaying it? I am struggling up here, the weather up here has been just awful. Last night it got down to 40 at my house, today's high is 62 thus far. The last two Saturdays I went fishing, it was raining and 58 degrees at 8am, the other day was overcast and 53. It is really strange weather for the summer up here, I don't think we have had a streak of more than 2-3 days it has been sunny and over 70. The temp drop is extreme, today tomorrow its supposed to be 79 and rainy, then it drops to 61 on thursday. Its killing the fishing in my area.

Generally speaking you need three days of consistent weather to expect predictable fishing. Three days of sun, three days of rain, three days of snow, whatever. In short, unstable weather produces unpredictable fishing. And vice versa.

That makes sense, unfortunately for me, the only thing predictable in Ohio's weather is that it will be unpredictable. I went fishing yesterday, water temp in the pond I fished was 44, it's been crazy weather ever since that bad tornado hit Xenia.
