Checking in with Mike, Walter, and Jessie via flashbacks was the best kind of fan service. |

Now I think it's time to rewatch Breaking Bad, then Better Call Saul.

Holy shit, Saul's "flashbacks" were visits from 3 symbolic ghosts. Think "A Christmas Carol"
Mike in the desert Walt in the basement of the vacuum place Finally, his brother Chuck Just watched a youtube video that pointed it out. |

I felt like they tied that element up well. Most of us would've thought, "Oh, god - this guy is never gonna last in prison," but then you saw the bus scene where he was essentially a celebrity who likely spends time in prison offering free legal advice. He'd be protected.
They didn't want to leave it as a guy who was going to be stuck in prison for 80+ years fearing for his life. |
The show did a good job of bringing back BB characters - Hank, Gomez, Marie, Euell, and a few lesser criminals going through Saul's office.
El Camino had Badger and Skinny Pete, Todd and Vacuum Cleaner Man. It's like thumbing through an old HS yearbook. Absent were Walt Jr, and the much maligned Skyler. |

I like how Saul trolled Bill Oakley so much throughout the show and then did it one last time at the end LMAO
