I would love to see Wichita St beat OSU. It's one thing to not be able to beat KU (3 or 4 in a row?) but then to lose to another KS team from a mid major would really tick them off.

such a ridiculous ****ing stoppage in the game...what's the point of timeouts again?

if OSU and KU meet in the Final Game I'll probably win some money...that was my pick

I lost Miami today...

so the only way I can possibly get 1st is getting MSU in the final four as well...

need Duke and Louisville to lose

KC_Connection 03-28-2013 08:14 PM

Somehow LaQuinton Ross's incredible 2nd half will be credited to Aaron Craft's will to win.

Buckeye fans look at basketball as something to pass the offseason. Most bucks fans are surprised how far we've already made it, no real let down from this point on as long as we put up a fight.

I agree, but now the refs are just gonna cover their own butts under 2:00. If they don't and there is an error, everyone is going to say why do you have the rule? Refs I bet are being told to be on the safe side.

That'd be totally fine with me. They can do our dirty work for us in the event we don't make it to the final. Though I have OSU in the FF.

yeah but in this case he was

A) Clearly behind the 3 point line and
B) Anything more than 1 second on the clock should never be reviewed unless it was just blatant...and that was not even close to blatant...

I can understand reviewing time when it's at like .05 seconds...

but 2 whole seconds?

Let the teams play...and don't reward a team for being dipshits with their timeouts with a free timeout.

Michigan scored 57 and 52 vs Michigan St. And 62 and 59 vs Wisconsin. They will not get out of the 50s vs KU who plays even better defense than those teams. Can they hold KU under 60? I doubt it.

Ross is a very good basketball player. He should get more minutes, but is seen as a defensive liability.

Indiana with their hands full against Syracuse.

KC_Connection 03-28-2013 08:24 PM

Indiana is playing soft right now. Need to start hitting some shots in this zone.

tk13 03-28-2013 08:24 PM

I thought Syracuse was a brutal matchup for Indiana. So far it's been a worse matchup than I thought. Indiana struggles when you drag them down into a half court game. Syracuse can bog them down and be more athletic at the same time.

I wasn't sure if Syracuse had it in them though, after the past few weeks... Indiana looks terrible.

Syracuse played a dominant half against Louisville much like this two weeks ago and then fall apart in the 2nd. Very early here.

Coming into the thread to call the Miami Heat pathetic after their first loss in 28 games (in a game that you didn't watch) is pretty much the definition of trolling.

If you say so. I guess calling the KU fans "arrogant little pricks" is trolling but coming into a thread after a game you didn't watch to call the Miami Heat "pathetic" isn't. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that it's hard to follow the logic of a troll.

Zeller would be destroyed in the NBA. Even guys like Hansbrough would eat him alive. How is he being projected as a lottery pick, let alone a top 3 guy? Weakest draft in recent memory.

It's a weak draft, but he'll fall into the teens when all is said and done.

Hansbrough plays with 1000 times the heart that Zeller does. Zeller is probably Robert Swift, not Hansbrough.

I mean, McLemore can't even create his own shot right now and he's still projected in the top 3. And then this Zeller joke right after him. Not a good year to be a tanking NBA team.

Hootie 03-28-2013 09:40 PM

Zeller has absolutely zero NBA potential. I can't believe anyone would bother drafting him.

He'd have to play tougher to be what Hansbrough is today, but I think that's probably in him somewhere. Honestly, he should stay another year and enjoy the success of college. He'll be forgotten when he goes pro.
