The word GEAUX is kind of annoying, but I am indifferent to that program. Before Nick Saban, they really weren't much of a national power. They had a few good years under David Archer, but you would have to go back to Paul Dieztel and Billy Cannon (late 50s) to when they were a real power.

Yes. He's much naturally thicker, for one. He has a stronger arm, he's shown a willingness to stand in the pocket and take a hit, and he worked with a talented cast at Cal, but not nearly as talented as what Bradford has at OU.
