I don't really care about winning this year - so I guess I don't care too much about our bullpen. I expect us to be going full Zimmer, Lovelady, Blewett, Staumont by the time we are any good.

Zimmer needs to be in during high leverage situations. I don't get this Kennedy will be good in the bullpen and he sure as hell be the closer. Ned is such a ****ing idiot. He gave up 11 runs in the 1st inning last year and he only started 22 games. I don't know if that really mean anything, but it seems like it would.

This bullpen is probably going to be the worst in the league.

I think they have allowed 5 or 6 runs already in 4 games

They aren’t going to throw Zimmer straight into high-leverage situations, they just aren’t. He’s had six years of injuries and one Major League game under his belt. If he’s still not pitching in these situations come June, then you’d have a point.
