Bruh, your life will be much better when you come to grips with that fact.

Every episode is over an hour.

Martin says that “at least two” of the five in-development prequels center around Fire And Blood, a canon history of the Targaryen conquest of yore.
LMAO

Can't wait.

His storyline is child's play compared to Erickson's Malazan Book of the Fallen and he knocked that shit right out with no big delays. 10 huge books!

Edit: I think that after GOT the show finishes, I'm done with GRRM. Dude isn't getting any more of my money.

I want to know what difference will be between the series and future books. Do you have any suggestions?

Dunit35 11-15-2018 08:25 AM

I was going to binge watch a few episodes last night. Watched that Arya girl off this dude then saw him alive in the next episode.

That’s when I realized I watched the season seven finale first before watching the previous episodes.

You could write books on the plot points found in the books that the show completely omitted.

There are just so many loose ends in the books.

Go read "Way of the Cross and Dragon" by George RR Martin and report back.

Yeah.... that's the thing.

GRRM said what's slowing him down was the critical acclaim of each novel and the pressure to maintain that quality.

I'm left wondering... did he stop reading reviews after the Storm of Swords?

Right. Has absolutely nothing to do with he can't figure out how to write himself out of corners he wrote himself into.

It's also why I'm more forgiving of Season 7 than most diehards.

Yes. There were leaps of logic and dues ex machinas to get the pieces where they needed to be for the final season.

But, this shows EXACTLY why George has been stuck on some of these plot threads since basically 2001. Until George figures out something better (just give him another couple of decades) - I'll take what I can get.

I’m not buying that crap at all. It’s a fantasy world. Full of mystics and spells. One red women can do whatever plot twist you need to get out of a corner.
