I've had a couple of times I've had to bathe our cats. I don't do it if I don't have to.

Our current kitten went through a period where she would eat string if she could find it. When it came out the other end, it would keep the turds attached and she would get it all over herself and the floor (and anything else she would rub against). I had to wash her backside a few times. :rolleyes:

Our other two cats are siblings. When we first got them, we kept them in a crate at night so they couldn't get into trouble while we were sleeping. I had food and water and a small cat box in the crate with clumping litter in it. The first morning, we came down and they had spilled the water, walked in it and then walked in the cat box. I had to bathe them to remove their concrete shoes. :doh!:
