Tommy's Pizza - Gettysburg, PA
When we flew back from KC, we would always drive through Gettysburg first before even dropping the suitcases off |
2nd place would be Via Marconi's Pizza in Hatfield, PA
|
Minksy's or Fun House here in Independence are my favorites.
One of the worst cases of food poisoning I ever got was from Giordano's Pizza in Chicago. |
Pyramid pizza with honey on the crust.
Best pizza ever at 3am with my buddies, and whatever girls we drug out of the Westport bars. |
Lou Malnati's in Chicago. Deep dish...yummy.
|
Actually Funhouse Pizza in KC is very good

Pizza Shuttle in Lawrence. They had one size--$5, or 3 for $10 ( in the early 1990s).
Sure, Minsky's is technically "better", but at 2am or when you were starving, Pizza Shuttle was the best thing I ever tasted. |
Papa Don's in Fort Scott, Kansas was the only thing that made growing up there bearable.

I wasn't going to start a thread about this... so I'm watching Man vs. Food and he's in Seattle.
Even people "in the know" are dumbasses. Adam is eating crab and says, "This is the freshest crab I've ever eaten!" Really? Unless it's a really unusual circumstance (it wasn't in this episode) you're eating crab that's pre-cooked before it was delivered to the restaurant. (It's dangerous cooking dead crabs, just like lobsters.) Once cooked it's kept refrigerated until the restaurant heats it up. There's nothing "fresh" about it. /rant |
american pizza is dirt.
pizza in canada is the best |
