Looks like the experiment may not go off fully, since Fort Worth's receivers are racked by injuries this week. They can only suit up three aside from street free agents.

Can we make it call out the safety, though?

Independence
4th Q 1:48 1st and 10 Independence 3 PENALTY. Delay of Game Christian Ponder half the distance to the goal.
4th Q 1:48 1st and 11 Independence 1 Christian Ponder passes incomplete to Larry Fitzgerald.
4th Q 1:41 2nd and 11 Independence 1 Christian Ponder passes, batted at the line of scrimage incomplete. PENALTY. Offensive Holding on Richie Incognito. -1 yards.
Little Rock 37, Independence 10

Little Rock
4th Q 1:33 1st and 15 Little Rock -3 Free kick, ball returned to the 34 yardline.
4th Q 1:25 1st and 10 Little Rock 26 Leonard Weaver rushes for 3 yards.
4th Q 0:35 2nd and 7 Little Rock 29 Leonard Weaver rushes for 0 yards.
Little Rock 37, Independence 10

Okay, go back to this play and you will be able to see the safety. The call was in the database, but I just wasn't printing out that information on a batted pass.

I'm going to see if I can cook up some more interesting stats tonight.

Team stats would be cool, and sacks/INT

Anything else is gravy.

JIMP.

I may be the exception, but I would like to see defensive stats.

You mean like individual?

I was just getting ready to gripe that in real life my starting four DBs have 16 picks last season, the defensive stats page just showed me that right now they have exactly one. WTF?

You saw the team defensive stats, right? Those are the numbers that opposing offenses put up against a given defense.

As far as individual defensive stats, I can generate INTs and sacks right now. The simulation determines who pressures the passer on non-sack plays, but I don't save it in the data base. I also do not generate who makes the tackle. I would have to add something to the sim to figure that out, and will probably do that next year.

Research shows that QBs throw INTs more than DBs make them. For some reason the QBs you have faced aren't putting up INTs. I bet you haven't faced Carson Palmer yet, huh?

The simulation was correct, there was actually a fraction of a second left in the game when the ball was snapped. I was just displaying it wrong. I fixed the display code so now there is no overtime play displayed in your game.

I've collected one interception against:

Christian Ponder
Matt Ryan
Matt Cassel
Carson Palmer
Drew Brees
Tony Romo
Mark Sanchez
Ryan Fitzpatrick
Michael Vick

Meanwhile, Matt Stafford has thrown 4 picks in one half of one game.
FML.

Yeah, it looks like you have just been unlucky. You're even getting decent pressure on the QB. Things should tick up for you.

Go to the "Coach" setting and see if you have it set on "Greg Robinson".

No, I didn't see those. I was meaning things like interceptions, forced fumbles, fumble recoveries, sacks, and tackles. Also kick/punt return distances, net punting, etc
Wasn't a "Hey, this needs to happen" thing....I read that as you were looking for more stats to work on, and added what I thought would be cool to see.

Rain Man 07-14-2012 04:08 PM

The new stats are great. I'm using them to tweak my strategies.
