42 points and only 7 first downs from the offense

Mauk should be ashamed

TribalElder 10-18-2014 07:56 PM

Mauk misses DGB something serious

Just think, he could still be covering up his flaws if he still had some leapers on the outside

If this were a baseball game Missouri would have six infield hits and Florida five errors.

As many of us mentioned earlier, the defense continues its solid play. Turnovers are often random, and they just got four games worth of turnover randomness in a single night.

Special teams have been great as well, but goddamn, is Mauk ****ing terrible. You can tell that Henson schemes for his inadequacies, hence all the fades at the goal line because he doesn't trust him to go through his progressions, but that just ends up further hamstringing the offense.

Had we committed to run on every down those FGs are TDs. Doesn't matter much when playing perhaps the worst FCS offense of the decade, but against better teams it will be the difference between victory and defeat.

It's amazing to say, but aside from a few rushes, Mauk has been no better in a five touchdown rout then he was in a five touchdown slaughterous defeat.

The stat line showed less yards on the same number of plays as last week ROFL

Mostly true. However, our run game has been garbage as well.

It really hasn't been that bad. It has had no chance to develop any consistency because they keep trying to get Mauk in a rhythm, which is impossible when he can't go through progressions or throw a ball accurately.

Mauk is 6/18 with an egregious pick and has four DOG penalties in a game where his team is up by 35 points. That has to be the worst QB line relative to margin of victory ever.

Maty Mauk is worse.

42pts & 97yds of offense. Weird.

Pathetic.

'Hamas' Jenkins 10-18-2014 08:20 PM

Looks like a final score of:

Missouri O: 14
Missouri ST: 14
Missouri D: 14
Florida O: 13

'Hamas' Jenkins 10-18-2014 08:23 PM

If you're Pinkel, how do you not look at this and say, "Eddie Prinz can't do this."?

Berkstresser was better than this as a RS Fr, and he is ****ing horrible.

I really think the most staggeringly awesome part of this game is that Mauk could look so bad in such a blowout.

He is now 27/73 for 229 yards 0 TDs and 5 INTs in his last three games.

Find a worse stretch in MU history.

And the thing is, I'm really happy about everyone else's play.

Don't forget that three of our offensive points were on a drive where the defense gave them the ball at the Florida 5 yard line, and they proceeded to lose yards before kicking the FG.
