This DL sucks harder than Matt Cassel in the 2-minute drill.

First impression: I don't like the changes.

Like the changes a lot. The bounties were less grindy, the subclass missions are not too bad (finished sunsinger, voidwalker strike will be more challenging). Haven't PvP'd yet. Really liked the kiosks. No complaints so far.

Pausing for a minute and restarting a couple times got me finished in about 2 hours (my estimated was 46 hours). Still slow but I got 6 or 7 hours in.

Are you on xbox or play station?

I was able to get the download as soon as it dropped at about noon. Was done by 2:10pm.

Probably a LOT less traffic when I downloaded though.

I'm finding the quests to be a bit tedious. I mean shit, generating orbs with a gunslinger with no heroic options to up the majors and ultras? takes three times as long as it should to complete.

I cheesed both of those, killed the 3 yellow hive right next to the cosmodrome starting point. Took maybe 10 minutes.

The last stage is the most difficult. On warlock sunsinger it was 20 kills with radiance during a strike, and I don't think I'd have finished that if it hadn't taken the rest of my group fifteen minutes to start. Haven't finished voidwalker yet, but that one seems really difficult - have to get three 7-orb nova bombs (7 orbs is the new cap) during a strike. Not sure how I'm going to do that one unless I solo the nightfall again. It's going to be difficult to get that many orbs in a group with only grey level strikes available. I might see if it's possible to get the kills outside of the strike.

The Undying Mind strike is a good one for the quests/orbs. I've complete both Titan quests, Void Walker and Gun Slinger so far.

I'm really enjoying Rift and the new maps are a nice change of pace.

I don't think I've ever actually run undying mind, so it'll give me something to do.

I dismantled the Strangers Rifle before any DLCs came out way back when. But with the 2.0 update they are allowing you to complete the story to get it again. That thing is a monster in Crucible.

Did they get rid of Roc/Dragon Strikes? All I saw available were level 20 strikes.

don't complete any quests until Tuesday. The items they drop for completion are not dropping because taken king is not out yet. If you complete the qquest you can't go back and do it again unless you delete your character.

Reminder, also do not delete your frontier shell if you preordered last year. It is now upgradeable and will be better than the ghosts currently available.
