They have me on a split prep.

5:00-7:00pm First 64 ounces. An 8 oz glass every 15-20 minutes.

10:00-12:00 second 64 ounces.

So far made 4 rounds from living room chair to toilet.

Not horrible yet.....

The big task at hand now is to decide what your first meal is tomorrow after the procedure.

Oh wow. That is a really late second start. You'll be shitting nothing but liquid by then if you had a clear liquid diet throughout the day today. I wish you the best of luck tomorrow!

I took Sutab pills instead of the drink. A lot of pills, but no unpleasant taste.

I must be an oddball since the solution tasted just fine to me and I am already done.

Now just the last few visits to the toilet.

I feel so less bloated after this.

Easy peasy.

Yeah, it really isn't as bad as folks make it out to be. The worst part is the anticipation.

I'll be hoping for the best.

While they're in there can you ask and see if they can find any Chiefs free agency news? Because there's none going on out here.

But seriously, hope for the best.

Good luck, bro. I see my doc next week to schedule mine.

My daughter is a nurse and she worked in an endoscopy unit for a bit. Every once in a while, they’d be doing a procedure and find some bit of food - usually vegetables because they dont break down as well. When that happens, they can’t see what they need to see and they need to re-schedule the procedure. Inevitably the patient would say “But I got hungry.” So you might be super hungry but just hang in there. Don’t want to have to do this again in 3 weeks because you were “hungry”.

Good advice. They also tell you (and I totally forgot this part) not to eat things nuts and corn for a week before the procedure. I guess those don't break down very well.

Meanwhile, my brother (in Kansas) paid like $1500 for his, which found nothing.

Looking through this thread as I was curious about how the OP is doing after his issues and I saw this post. I'm pretty sure that both of you are wrong. I went back and looked up my billing. I paid $0 for mine in Kansas. It must depend on how good is your insurance.

Doctor said either I had or was a perfect ass.

No polyps or issues.

Another 10 years until next one.

Endoscopy nothing worse. 3 years until next.

Doc spent 4 minutes and 42 seconds on Endoscopy and 11 minutes 9 seconds on Colonoscopy.

Drive-ins take longer.

scho63 03-12-2024 03:12 PM

I just farted jizz.

Is that normal after a colonoscopy?
