I said it Sunday night the week before that game that everything was lining up for that SNF game to be a disaster. They're a tough matchup for us, no doubt. If they rematch in the playoffs, the winner is probably the team playing at home. |
I think that what happens tomorrow night will be the deciding answer to this question. Win and we have the division by virtue of the tie breaker, which means we still have little room for error, but at least we hold the division and the number 2 seed. Lose and the Fade have a stranglehold on the division and also hold the number 1 seed. Thursday night the Chiefs have HFA, with the added advantage of the Fade travelling on a short week. They have the advantage that a cold game should limit the Faider passing attack, and they have the advantage that the Faiders are coached by Jackass DelFraudo. If they lose this game, then I have little faith that they can make it to the big game. Win and I like our chances.

How about now?

the chiefs offense is scoring at league-worst levels over the last 5 weeks (15.6 PPG) if the run defense collapses, it's over |

Actually that might work to our advantage. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Losing DJ hurts, but this defense still has enough talent to dominate even elite offenses.
The defense played very well in 2014 without DJ and this team has a lot more talent than that one. |

In the last 11 days, KC has beaten 3 teams that are all in the Super Bowl conversation.
This team is battle tested and just needs to stay locked in. |
