geez, just because he looked good compared to the trash he was playing next too doesn't mean he was a top guy in the league.

Why didn't New Orleans just go after an 'elite' guy like Hudson then?

The guy is ranked in the top by several different sources. Who says that other teams weren't making him offers? The raiders just made him the highest paid center in history.
