I think most casual fans do. Im counting USA vs POR as a draw unless Ronaldo is on. If he is on when US plays them its going to be a looong day. They're good but outside of Ronaldo and Nani they're a lot of JAG guys and the USMNT have already beaten better Portugal squads in the recent past.

I saw a report on European soccer and the overt racism. Chanting money boy, making monkey sounds, throwing bananas on the field. the satdiums and clubs don't really do a damn thing about the overt racism.

When I read that I was proud the vast majority of Americans have moved past that overt racism. If you can hit a home run, score a goal or protect the QB's blind side we don't give a shit about your heritage. Get out there and make some plays.
