Haha @ Mecca being ok with KC moving Hali.

Mecca has always been his biggest fan, afterall.

So yes, people are saying a LOT of stupid shit.

My argument is that it would be the biggest coup in Chiefs history since Montana.

Which is different than saying it's on par with Montana

Because he was in pass coverage 60% of the time.

Bob Sutton will have Tamba back to his normal form which is rushing the passer.

Haha, well I expect a bit more from what he's being paid now he needs to throw up 14+ every year.

Does this mean they'll have the joy of dropping Justin Houston when he really shouldn't be either.

He is a pass rusher.

He is a whole lot better in pass coverage than Tamba. Houston has the ability to play the pass and get to the qb.

Are you implying the 500k man is more talented than the 60 million dollar man?

penbrook 03-05-2013 12:48 AM

I just realized if Millner is drafted by us we will have 3 DBS from the university of Alabama.

Javier Arenas, Dequan Menzie, and Dee Millner.

BossChief 03-05-2013 12:48 AM

He missed a game and had 9. It's not all about the sacks...pressures and hits are just as important.

36 sacks in the last 3 seasons is pretty good.

Direckshun 03-05-2013 12:49 AM

Any QBs in this draft that you like, Mecca?

Dude, it's not a coup.

First off, the Chiefs have the first pick in the draft, so right there, coup can't apply.

Secondly, giving up a minimum of two picks for two questionable guys could never be considered a "coup".

Yes I am. Houston is a better overall player.

However Tamba is the better pass rusher.

Yea if you average 12 sacks a season there shouldnt even be talks about getting rid of Tamba or trading him.

I think it would be the most important shifting of priorities this team has experienced since, at the very least, the turn of the century.

Herm turned us from aging vets to youth and the draft.

Reid is turning us, potentially, from castoffs to home-grown, drafted QBs.

A coup can simply be a clever act, by the way.
