Paul George is itching to put up career lows in numbers and efficiency as he plays alongside LeBron.

Meniscus is easy fix these days. He'll be out for summer league but 100% at the start of next year. Trust me, I'm not a doctor.

PGs barber tweeted out PG is staying in OKC. So if Lebron goes to LA and LA.has to give up the farm for Leonard they likely come.up short and have a declining James. Maybe try to get the missing pieces for 19-20 I guess.

Paul George staying in OKC per Woj.

CaliforniaChief 06-30-2018 09:51 PM

Durant is going to sign a one and one, so he's an unrestricted FA next summer.

Honestly I'm glad PG13 is staying in OKC. I think the Lakers are better going in a different direction, even waiting a year to see if they can get Leonard via FA or Durant.

What difference does it make to the league? With Durant in Golden State still, the Warriors are winning next year regardless of where PG is playing.

CaliforniaChief 06-30-2018 10:24 PM

It's a smart move by Paul George. He gets more money, keeps more money, and from a "legacy" standpoint, becomes a legend in an area still stung by Durant's departure.

He'll be the loyal one who stayed instead of bolting back to California...and in those parts, loyalty is king.

Besides, if LeBron signs in LA, PG13 is just an afterthought with the Lakers.

Props to OKC for having the balls to make that trade and get it done before FA.

It is good for the league when star players play for small market teams instead of joining super teams in large markets.

As far as a PG goes he should have stayed with the Pacers and made more money and had a better chance of getting to the Finals than staying with OKC.

Titty Meat 07-01-2018 12:36 AM

George is an idiot who will never win shit in OKC

dj56dt58 07-01-2018 01:21 AM

OKC would be better without Melo

I like it as well... I hate seeing players especially superstars leave their teams. I like to see the talent spread out it makes the league much more competitive.
