God, really? It was SO repetitive. I can see someone who was a huge fan of Batman loving the story, (I did) but the gameplay was just the same thing over and over. There were no boss battles to speak of, the bat mobile was shoved down our throats and the ending was very predictable.

The graphics were good but I have to give the nod to Witcher 3 where that's concerned. Not to mention Witcher 3 continues to give out free DLC every week or two.
Apples and oranges I guess but GOTY? Not hardly.

Apples to oranges. Repititive is so overblown. You could say bloodborne is reptitive. I like all the content for it and add that to it. I liked the riddler aspect. Ya it's repetitive but you can say that about a lot of games. The batmobile was not shoved down your throat because you didn't NEED it to travel in the city. You had to use it for some missions but it wasn't a necessity all the time nor was it a shit show. Just had to get used to it. I liked the batmobile. I'm biased because I love the games. There were new improvements. I didn't like the the fact that there were no boss fights. They should've had those.

To each his own but thru the first 10+ hours of the game, 75% of the missions were batmobile related. If I wanted to play battle-tanks, I would've downloaded it.

It's no where near GOTY in my book but it's not a bad game, either. I loved the Joker's storyline. It even evolves in New Game Plus. That was a good idea.

It was a decent conclusion to a great series, just too much repetitiveness for me.

Bloodborne is repetitive I guess if you look at it as "killing monsters to achieve your goals" but it was so much more.

To this point it's my favorite game out. Like I said I'm biased. To each their own in deed. And for the record, I love bloodborne. Can't wait for DLC

Can't agree more though I'm on the fence with Witcher. I didn't sell it but I just couldn't get into it..and after playing this & bloodborne..it's really hard for me to get used to the controls, combat and the way the guy moves.

I might just play it on easy/normal to beat it but it seems way too advanced of an RPG for me.

If advise that. Get into the story.

I'm sorry but people whining about the batmobile is dumb. It's a cool feature they added. I don't think it's forced at all. You battle tanks because you're battling militia throughout the game. I love bloodborne but it's repetitive in the sense that you slash your way through alot of the same enemies throughout the game to get to a boss at the end of each level. That part is very repetitive. I just don't see this batman as too repetitive.

I have to get back into witcher. The little bit I played I liked very much. I downloaded some of the free content last night.

Witcher takes a long ass time to pick up, but it's pretty damn fun when it does. Id almost recommend doing a bit of research on each of the characters to better understand them if you've never touched Witcher before this. Helps you get into the story a lot quicker than just playing the game.

Ok, so you're running in a counter-clockwise loop around the room when she's cloning, right? That allows you to avoid attacks by her clones.

You're at a good level so that's not a problem. The reccomended level for her is 65.

Your best bet is to keep your distance and lure her into gliding toward you. Assuming you have the lock-on activated, roll towards the bitch during its glide. With the right timing, you should be able to roll right through its attack. This will leave her open to a series of your own melee hits, at least as much as your stamina bar is willing to allow.

Gonzo 07-12-2015 12:59 PM

Oh and you'll take a hit or three but that's one boss that was geared towards the regain system so as long as you're aggressive, you'll be ok.

Thanks for the advice. It really helped. After I beat the wet nurse, I ranked up to level 95 and killed father gehrman. He was fairly easy and then the game ended.. I guess I didn't get enough umbilical cords to fight the moon creature. It was a bit disappointing. I kinda thought the game might be longer. However I did put over 50 hours in it. I just really wish I could of faced the optional bosses first. So I guess I'll play with my level 99 character and do that or I may create a new one. All in all..this is my favourite game for the ps4 and might very well be my favourite game of all time. I love everything about it.

Holy shit... 99 on your first playthru is seriously kicking some ass dude. You've put in more than 50 hrs.

New Game Plus is a completely different experience. You'll get even more addicted. Now start building up your Arcane and Bloodtinge. Use some of the optional shit. It'll make you think twice the next time you start a brand new game.
