@AdamSchefter: Chiefs traded second-round pick, the second pick in the second round, to SF. Niners also got another conditional mid-round pick in 2014.

Honestly, I think it makes sense for the Chiefs. For a team like the Jaguars/Eagles/Cardinals I think it would have been disastrous because we need picks.

But the Chiefs are really only good coaching, a QB, and maybe one other piece away from competing for it all. I personally think Alex Smith is better than any QB that is going to be taken in the 2nd round draft.
