If you believe this guy is legit and don't want to try to find that guy to groom, than 2 firsts and a 2nd arent that terrible. We would be giving up Hudson, Baldwin and Berry for RG3 if you were to take our last 2 firsts and our last 2nd. They are taking a gamble and they may fail. Right now we are guaranteed to fail with Matt.

I totally understand and I can empathize with the argument.

On the other hand, some might respond that, with Hudson, Baldwin, and Berry, we are spreading the risk. Of course, we're unable to realize the alternative rewards, as well. But, it isn't like we can just trot down to the neighborhood quarterback tree and pluck one of those bastards off a low limb.

All I'm saying is that, each and every day, it's becoming more and more clear to me that NFL teams are going to have to develop alternative methods and means for acquiring (or creating) franchise quarterbacks. The Chiefs need to be thinking in those terms, in my view. Mainly because we aren't getting Luck. Or RGIII. Or, most likely, Manning. Or anybody freaking else at that level of quality. And, when you can't buy it, steal it, find it, or trip on it while walking down the street, you have to build it.

It's 2 first rounders and 4 spots and a second, How the heck do you guys think it's 3 first rounders when they traded spots?

simple math:

Redskins give up 3 first rounders, 1 second rounder
Rams give up 1 first rounder.

3 minus 1 = 2 even in KC

But the redskins didn't give up 2 first rounders, they gave up 3. It ain't brain surgery, son.

Three first rounds and second round is mortgaging the future -- A lot of pressure. Griffin better be a game changing franchise quarterback.

Washington has money to spend. They will need to put an offensive line together through free agency to protect their young quarterback. They must feel confident - Griffin is going to be playing their division rivals twice next year. And he could face a difficult time against their elite pass rushers.

On offense, Washington needs wide receivers. Fred Davis is good, but I think he is UFA. I remember their defense played well last season except for the secondary. Washington might lose Fletcher. I could be wrong.

Home games: New York Giants, Philadelphia, Dallas, Atlanta, Carolina, Baltimore, Cincinnati, Minnesota

Away games: New York Giants, Philadelphia, Dallas, New Orleans, Tampa Bay, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, St. Louis

Wouldn't it be funny if Goodell takes away their first round pick due to bounty-gate?

As usual, your out-of-the-box thinking may be on to something, Ms. Dylan.

Many of us scientists and blood donors have been curious why they would do this deal so early. However, if there is a risk that the Skins were to be caught up in BountyGate, that might explain it.

It would be much more difficult for the NFL to take away a pick that's already been traded.

Lord God man

They "traded" away 3 1sts and 1 2nd in exchange for 1 first.

I know it's difficult, but in your world, it would be like trading 3 disgusting bitch hos and a bag of H for 1 decent bitch ho and a car with the VIN removed.
