Well these are my early adopters... you go guys!

For the standard consumer, in 8 months you should be able to get a comparable tablet for the same price but with a proper OS built in!

And it looks more and more like Asus may release a Win7/8 tablet that will have a keyboard dock.. basically a Win version of their Transformer tablet that just released this week. THAT could have huge Enterprise possibilities.

TBH, 30 minutes of work and done. Running like a dream. Now if I could find a GOOD music player that sorts by folder I would be set.

thanks guru...what would I do without you??

one last thing...

my apps on my desktop won't flip vertical when I flip the tablet vertical...anyway to get those things to flip like the thing does when I'm browsing or is that just locked into horizontal no matter what?

even when i bring up all my apps on that app main page they won't flip vertical...so if I flip it vertical I have to look at them horizontal

I haven't found a way to do that yet

Unless you tether to a 3g source. Then its freaking great.

I meant that the GPS would be useless without the 3g signal.

Yes, Maps is totally usable if you have a wifi or tether

Anyone else having the battery issue of it never saying 100% charged? I tryed draining it to dead an d resetting the battery in CWM but it didn't help

ragedogg69 04-01-2011 02:45 PM

yeah i read that on xda. there is a couple of things you can try but no sure fire fix.

I also found yet another how-to for the gtab. This one says to partition the storage and apply a new kernal for the most bug free experience. Not necessary but its nice to know its a choice.

I've tried several but not happy with any of them at the moment. I've got my music installed onto the sd card and can play locally but what I REALLY want is to stream from my pc.

The Archos is the same way, it's like they installed the screen upside down. I found that if you start the video player with the screen upside down, it's all good. However, once it starts the program is locked to that orientation.

That doesn't work on the gtab

finally here. giving it a full charge, then making sure it can hop on my wifi, all the buttons work and can boot up 2 or 3 times then it's warranty voiding time.

I like miren browser better than dolphin

pr_capone 04-01-2011 05:40 PM

gmote is as close as I can get to what I want from a music manager. I can stream my music and movies from home in conjunction with rockplayer lite.

The only thing I can't do yet is play off an .m3u playlist which is annoying because it will only queue everything in a single folder.
