Rich Eisen had an interesting theory on the Raiders and Cardinals news lately. Cards have backed off the Muray love and the Raiders sent their scouts home for the week. He thinks this means the Raiders have made a move to get the 1 and take Murray and Gruden was afraid of it getting out.

So this thread can be deleted now. Start over after yesterday's news...

Why would they need to keep that a secret?

Makes it more difficult for other teams to project how the draft will go and maybe ward off a team from trying to move up into the Jets spot. I guess?
