We almost had a shot at Cooks... eat shit, Sean Payton.

Anyone think Jordan Matthews will be around at the end of the 3rd?

Mother****erJones 05-09-2014 06:31 AM

Honestly what's the point in even playing this season? This team is gona suck. Fisher will get Smith hurt. We have one good WR and that's it. The secondary gets abused when they face a good QB. We're third best in this division.

NFLN was pretty much the same way. After the Browns picked Manziel it was like the Chiefs being on the clock didn't exist. They didn't shutup about Manziel until Goodell was half way to the podium with the pick. But at least ESPN talked about Ford more than Bucannon!

No, he'll go in the 2nd round somewhere unfortunately.

I was watching NFL Network and it was ridiculous.

That's going to be crazy if the Texans go Clowney at 1 and then get Nix at the top of the 2nd. Beast of a defense.

we could have used a little more 'cone of silence' for this year's draft.

My day 1 winner? Rams. Think about this, they just added the most disruptive interior pass rusher to a DL that features:

Robert Quinn - Arguably the fastest and most disruptive outside pass rusher in the league in 2013.

Chris Long - A good all-around DE who is good at pass rushing and stopping the run.

Michael Brockers - A young DT who showed an improvement in his ability to wreck havoc in the middle of opposing OLs and became one of the better young DTs in the league last year.

And now you just added Aaron Donald to the unit that was top 3 in sacks and pressures.

Oh yeah, and they drafted the next Orlando Pace in Greg Robinson.

I think they had a great day. If there's a Ram's Planet mirror to CP though, they're bitching today about drafting a guard with the 2nd pick overall (based on reports that Robinson may start out at LG).

Hard to share that optimism. He's a more reckless runner than rg3

He's going to have a better offensive line protecting him though.

Eisen must've said 5 different times that his own twitter was blowing up telling him to STFU about Manziel

God, if he's there and we pick him I would cry. Love me some Jordan Matthews. However, no way in hell that the most productive WR in the history of the SEC who is 6'3" and ran a 4.45 40 at the Combine, is going to be available at pick 87 in this draft.
