my 335i is in the shop - ****ing blew another coil - second one. So yeah - i'm stuck w/ my Audi and a ****ing Camry loaner over this beautiful weekend - it's going to be 70 all weekend!

- though the Camry isn't a bad looking car. Just not a big performer. lol

is your m dual clutch? also - do you happen to have a picture - I literally could talk cars all night. It's a new found interest and I'm somewhat a n00b - but it's a lot of fun. lol

I need to take some actual pics at some point. I ended up going with the dual clutch over a manual but it was a really difficult decision. I had always driven manuals and initially tought I would when shopping M3s. The dual clutch still preserves the the throttle/engine breaking of a manual and putting it in drive in traffic is great. Also helps that it shifts faster than anyone could a manual.

so is the 435i the same engine as the 335i?

Same as the latest generation 335. The 335 motor changed in 2011 from the previous twin turbo to a single twin scroll turbo that is supposed to be a little more efficient. What disappointed me about the 435i is the power is basically unchanged since 2007.

They're calling the 11' 322whp - weird - so how is the single turbo rating higher in wheel horse versus the twin turbo? Ughh....

Putting miles on a car I don't own like a loaner/rental is great. Obviously you have to pay for gas but drive that Camery everywhere or even a weekend road trip.

Miadragon has already seen this - but Miles here's my latest -

I want one of these so damn bad

I have a classic muscle car that stays garaged 90% of the time but these new mustangs really float my boat

I think both engines were right around 300 hp. The 2011 switched from a twin turbo to what they called a twin scroll single turbo. The results were pretty much the same with the newer motor having a slightly better power curve and MPG.
