Im going to check out "A Serbian Film" soon, only because it keeps popping up on the list of most depraved/banned/disgusting films.

Pretty awful. Barely JUCO level acting. Pretty gory and tense, but overall extremely disappointing. Felt like a Syfy late night product. There's a pot scene that's particularly ridiculous..

Sounds like it's just another Eli Roth torture porn movie only this time in the jungle.

From what I've read......I wouldn't.

dammit fish! you ruin everything!

Man, I really wanted it to be good. But it just isn't. For some reason, there are some attempts at dumb jr high humor in the film that makes it feel really cheap and dumb. Like there's a bizarre fart/poop scene in the middle of a cannibal feast that is so ridiculous that you cannot take the film seriously at all. And there are many moments like this through the film. I wanted everyone in the film to die.

Watched Insidious chapter 3 last night. It was pretty damn good.

Also this preview played before the movie and it looks good for a horror/comedy.

The Babadook was very well done as well (think i've mentioned this on CP already, but) - the punchline of the killer (he whispers 'babadook' aloud) was pretty bad, but - eliminate that - and The Bobadook was VERY good.

Sounds a bit like ET trying to be scary. Otherwise a decent film, although the kid was a bit annoying.

Watched it....couldn't help myself, i have to watch movies other people say i shouldn't. Movies like Cannibal Holocaust, 120 Days of Sodom and Irreversible....shock value type movies that push the limits....after all, it's just a movie, right?

Well...

This is the worst of 'em all. I don't even have words to describe it. Who would even make something like that? WTF is the point? This has to be the most ****ed up film ever made.

And if you're like me...sitting there thinking, "wow, what could be SOO bad that i simply shouldn't watch it? I have to watch it now!"....well...don't. It's not worth the time and you'll walk away saying, "why the **** did they need to show me that?"

For those of you who are curious to see a train wreck, i'll go ahead and share the ending so you can remove that curiosity and understand that this film is simply disgusting and shouldn't be viewed. It's not "art" by any means.

Spoiler!

Shit movie. Even if you like shock value movies, just avoid this one. It wants to be "Irreversible" but it went way too far.

I thought The Final Girls was very smart for a horror comedy. I really enjoyed it; so did my wife. We followed that up with It Follows and loved that as well.

If they had made only one Nightmare on Elm Street movie, I think Freddy Krueger would rank right up there with the scariest monsters of all time. That movie scared the piss out of me the first time I saw it.

But with all of the sequels and with Freddy having his own TV show and appearing on The Simpson's, Freddy isn't scary at all any more.
