nobody should be shocked at anything he puts....

The best I ever did was in the mid to upper 5 second range.

Most impressive thing I ever did was blast a 82mph slapshot once. Every other time it's in the low 70s.

From 1982-1984, I'd guess that somewhere between 30-40 guys played college ball at some level, with a few going directly from high school to big time D-I schools. Most played at the Juco's and some played at the smaller schools like Emporia State, Baker, etc.

I don't recall anyone joining the 1,000 pound club in either 1983 or 1984, although one of the guys in 1984 (and one of my best friends to this day) could have done it easily, especially considering he benched 350 his junior year but by that time, he was burned out on football and weight lifting.

I was there the last time I can recall someone making the 1,000 pound club, which was the last day of school in 1982 but I could be wrong. I've haven't been to that high school since the devastating event that happened in July 1987 and I doubt I'll ever return.

I went to SM Northwest and grad. in '85. You? We may have played against each other, heh.

Uh, I'm not sure what to say here.

LMAO

On one hand, I could tell you my real identity but you'd quickly realize that DaneMcCloud, especially the "Douche", smack-talking DaneMcCloud is an internet personality that doesn't share much in common with reality.

On the other hand, I could tell you to check your list of Facebook friends because it would be pretty easy to put "Two and Two" together.

Once you figure it out, please keep it completely private. While I've made several friends here in the forum, I'm afraid of what the "haters" would do if they found out my real identity.

Thanks!

Didn't want you to think my once in a lifetime slapshot was not real because my NY team doesn't have Canadians on it. LMAO

Last summer I ran a 4.5, I'm anxious to see what I do this year.

I had a hole in one at Smiley's one day and oddly enough, I'm not on the PGA circuit.

It's been over a year now, but I did run in the 4.5's. Only weigh in at about 180 though.

Not sure what my 40 time actually was, but I know the bunch of guys after me all went by with better numbers.

I was insanely strong in school, but my arthritic knees (which would keep giving out) was the main reason I never made any sports teams (well that and my JW parents refusing to let me). I almost cracked the 1000lb club in grade 11, (was at 930 bench, incline, squats and cleans ) . But unfortunatly not for long, my joints started giving out.
Still have wicked work strength, not many folks can climb 2-3 flights of stairs carrying a 65lb box of CGC plaster in both hands 10-15 times consecutivly, THEN start work for the day.
