Yeah!!!! I will become a Chiefs fan again. I refused to do so while that asshole was in power. And his departure is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY overdue. Here's to keeping Tyler Thigpen and getting a great new coach and a GM only if the coach doesn't want the job.

He's really done a terrible terrible job of choosing personnel the last 10 years. The terrible drafts, the bad free agent signings, the LJ contract...every player decision he's made lately has been wrong. The roster situation only started looking up once his role in player selection was dialed back.

Herm will die for his sins, but the next GM and coach will benefit from the salary cap cleansing and the young talent acquisition over the last year.

Marty in a Parcells role with Cowher as coach really does seem possible. With Gailey staying as OC. Almost makes too much sense not to happen.
