IM a huge Star Wars fan, heck i even like the new trilogy, but i wont be paying any more $$$ to see these on the big screen. My DVDs work just fine for me. I asked my son the other day if he wanted to see this, and he told me no. Basically was just a big meh.

If it were the original trilogy, I'd be in. It's always good to see Star Wars in the theater. But the pre-quels...not worth it. In any way.

I expect "Phantom" to do a brisk business... on Friday night and Saturday night. By Sunday, it'll be as dead as a cheap horror movie that 'wasn't available for review'.

And, by the way, the 3D (at least judging from the trailer) looks like shit. The 3D for "Titanic" looks a lot better. Leave it to Lucas to probably not even spend enough money to convert it. (This way, he can come out with a "super-duper high-def 3D version" next year.)

yep. Everything I have seen indicates they will be released one year apart from each movie. So we don't get to see the good ones until 2015.

Apparantly They changed Yoda over to all CGI in this cut. Phantom Menace was the last movie with a puppet Yoda. Of course Lucas added a few other new scenes as well.


Lucas cant quit these movies, and probably never will be able to.
