Louisville's women's team just upset defending champ Baylor and ended Brittany Griner's career. Heck of a day to be a Louisville sports fan.

Just looked at their box, heh. L'ville went 16-25 from 3, wow! They also had 3 players foul out.

Reading the write-up, they wrote they're a 6-seed, but they're really a 5-seed. LMAO

Yeah, pretty impressive. Saw a few posts on the Louisville board slightly mocking the Big 12. Louisville won a BCS bowl, has the favorite in the men's Final Four, just pulled off one of the biggest upsets in women's BB history against a Big 12 team, and has a top 10 baseball team... yet Louisville isn't "good enough" for the conference.

We Mizzou fans just ponder the thought!

I was all for Louisville joining the Big 12. Guess we are just too afraid of them.

Louisville joining the Big 12 would have been a step back from the beleaguered Big East. Their move after next year to the ACC was the right move for them. The Football team will continue to flourish, and the Basketball team will play still with some of the most elite schools in the country. Louisville is becoming one of the most elite sports universities in the country. There is nothing for anyone but Kansas, Kansas State and Texas in the Big 12.

Yeah, I was kind of pissed that the Big XII didn't get Louisville. I would had liked them along with West Virginia and TCU. Then we would have one more team (not sure who would have been good at this point).

However, I also understand the $$$ side of the conference. 10 teams = more $ payout than 12 or 14 teams $ payout, if that makes sense.

Good enough? I'd take them over the visual torture of having to watch TCU or Texas Tech play basketball immediately.

CBB related - Tubby to be the new Texas Tech coach.

Great hire. Hopefully he can bring some sustainability to Lubbock.
